What inspired the inception of your business, and how does your
company’s vision and mission align with your personal values?
I experienced tragedy at a young age when my mother passed away at six, which fueled my drive to excel in school and activities. I became a mother at 16 to twin boys, pushing me to work hard and prioritize responsibility. Despite struggles in college as a single parent, I graduated at the top of my class and founded two successful organizations,” Hip Notyze Dance Troupe” and “Women of Infinite Potential.” I also started my own businesses, “Erica Elle Presents & Erica Elle Productions” and “Vanite’ Luxe Studio.” I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, with side businesses and projects that fuel my passion.
As the founder of my business, I was inspired by my own life experiences and struggles to create a platform that empowers others to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
My company’s vision and mission are rooted in the belief that everyone has the power to create positive change in their lives and that with the right mindset and tools, we can all reach our goals and dreams.
This aligns perfectly with my personal values of perseverance, resilience, and growth. I believe in the transformative power of self-belief and hard work, and I strive to instill these values in everything my company does. As an author, I encounter various challenges that can impact my business, such as fluctuations in book sales or lower attendance at speaking events. In response to these challenges, my approach is to always show up with a positive mindset and give my best performance regardless of the circumstances. Whether speaking to a small audience of 10 instead of the expected 100, I deliver my speech and presentation as if addressing a full house, ensuring that I maintain the same level of enthusiasm and professionalism.
One of my proudest achievements is successfully getting my second book published. Additionally, I take pride in the opportunities I have had to present at various conferences and events, where I have been able to share insights about my book and brand with audiences from different backgrounds and perspectives. These experiences have allowed me to further establish my presence as an author and speaker, and I am grateful for the growth and recognition they have brought to my business.

In my business, fostering a culture of innovation is essential to staying relevant in a constantly changing business landscape. One of the ways I encourage innovation within my company is by promoting an open and collaborative work environment where my team is encouraged to share ideas, experiment with new approaches, and take calculated risks. I believe in empowering my team to think creatively and embrace change as a means of driving growth and success.
As an author and creator, I operate in a dynamic industry that is always evolving. When new trends like Instagram reels or emerging social media platforms gain popularity, my videographer is ready and willing to adapt by producing content that resonates with our audience.

As a leader, my leadership style is focused on empowerment, collaboration, and positivity. My objective extends beyond simply establishing my presence as a creative professional; rather, it is to enrich the lives of those around me in a meaningful way. Community engagement is a central focus for me, and I actively seek opportunities to contribute my time and energy to initiatives that bring

Erica Miller is a dynamic businesswoman, writer, and community advocate from Chicago, IL. She holds a B.S. in English with a minor in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Tennessee State University and double master’s degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education from Grand Canyon Christian University.
During her me at Tennessee State University, Erica co-founded the co-ed dance organization "Hip" Notyze Dance Troupe and established the business organization "Women of Infinite Potential." She gained valuable experience as a marketing and promotions intern at Clear Channel Radio (now iHeart Radio).
Erica's career includes roles as a Marketing Director, Online Marketing and Branding Director, and Executive Marketing and Promotion Assistant, showcasing her expertise in entertainment industry marketing, branding, and promotions.
She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a Charter Member of Toastmasters International. Erica published her book "Gumbo, Ingredients of Being A Woman" in April 2018 and is set to release the second installment, "Gumbo 2.0," in February 2024. Her multifaceted journey reflects her commitment to excellence, community engagement, and empowering women through her insightful writings.
